Governors Place is an established, affordable, and popular neighborhood in Katy, Texas just East of Grand Parkway (99) and South of I10 making it a popular location for people who need to commute to work. With approximately 500 homes, the community features a clubhouse, community pool and tennis courts.
Building began in Governors place during the 1980's and continued through the 1990's. Most of the homes are single-story ranch style houses that average 2,500 square feet in size. The HOA dues are fairly low when compared to nearby neighborhoods, and as of March 2022, were just about $600 per year. With a fairly low turnover rate, Governors Place homes typically don't sit on the market for long.
